By chance, I first met GIselle when she taught a free class at Lululemon. Her class had a marvelous energy and rhythm. But the real eye popper for me were her adjustments. Pure heaven. I asked her to do an "in class private" which means I took another teacher's Jivamukti class while she gave me adjustments throughout the class. It was an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend. Each move was supported, each stretch was spacious but never too much. She helped get into arm balances that I have struggled with for years. I left the class feeling well cared for and more capable. Her Jivamukti classes are outstanding as well. I have been taking yoga classes regularly for 20 years, and I consider her to be in my short list of best teachers. And she is definitely the best yoga teacher for adjustments.

"Are you ready to have fun? Giselle's classes are one of the most fun thingsI do. I don't know how she does it; in her classes she educates us about positive living, imparts life wisdom, has fun music, radiates joy, improves our yoga, gives a great class, AND she does all this while guiding the class and going from student to student providing personal adjustment and suggestions. If you want to enjoy yoga and learn how to enjoy life, come to Giselle's class."

About a year and a half ago, I followed my wife to one of Giselle’s classes, and from the first ninety minutes Giselle changed the way I thought about yoga. I had always regarded yoga as simply a good stretching routine to supplement my running and gym workouts, but Giselle’s infectious joy and inspired teaching opened my eyes. She incorporates music, chanting, philosophical readings, meditation and breathing practice into every class so smoothly it seems as if she’s been teaching for 1,000 years. Maybe she has.... I cannot recommend Giselle, my guru, highly enough.

In my 8 years of practicing yoga, I can honestly say Giselle is among the most amazing teachers I have had the privilege to learn from.
I enjoy every minute of Giselle’s classes, and feel so much better afterwards. She is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and fun.
I would recommend Giselle’s class to anyone who wants their workout with a side of spiritual nourishment and a sprinkling of humor.

"There is something to be said about laughing and enjoying a yoga class. Too often we take ourselves and our practice so seriously we forget the key component of yoga and life: enjoying it. Giselle brings a rare quality to her teachings that I have not found in my 15 years of practicing, PLAY. It is a divine treat to not only experience her presence, but learn from such someone who actually practices what she is preaching. She rocks!"

Giselle is an ideal teacher, technically very skilled, steeped in the essence of yoga, as well as the form, and FUN. Her classes are simultaneously rigorous and joyful- creating stability and openness in the body, mind and heart.

Giselle has been my teacher for almost three years, and her classes just
keep getting better and better. I look forward to practicing with her all
week, and in just ninety minutes she manages to infuse my mind and body with
a feeling of energetic bliss that I can’t quite explain. I had my second
child while studying with Giselle, and I rebounded in days rather than the
months it took with my first child. She inspires me to be a better parent,
spouse and friend, and my mind, body and spirit are stronger, more flexible
and more joyful as a result of her teaching. Jivamukti means "liberation
while living", and Giselle motivates all of her students to work toward
enlightenment through the practices of yoga. I feel incredibly blessed to
call this amazing jiva my guru.

I took my first yoga class in 1981, and began practicing seriously in 1994. Over the last several years I have averaged 5 classes a week and take back to back classes from Giselle on Thursday morning. The first class is a Yin sequence, followed by a flow practice. For me, it is a 2 and ½ hour vacation.
Giselle is a wonderful instructor, and her classes are taught with enthusiasm, spirituality, and humor. The depth of her knowledge and dedication to the practice of yoga is evident in all that she does. With the integration of the Jivamukti method, her classes are invigorating, enlightening and fun.

My experience in Giselle’s Jivamukti class is always physically and mentally invigorating, challenging and enlightening. She takes us to the depths of our feelings and challenges us to explore our core beliefs. She does this with compassion and conviction and if it ever gets to heavy, her great choice of music and hilarious sense of humor helps you forget the incredible difficult pose your in and asks you to hold it for another five breaths. I look forward to Giselle’s class each week knowing I will be able to work out any bad qi and come out feeling renewed. Thank you Giselle!

After dabbling in yoga on and off for decades, I have committed to an ongoing, regular practice because of Giselle's teaching. She has been our teacher for five years now....and her humor, grace, wisdom and encouragement have made all the difference in the world. She manages to inspire and challenge, while at the same time building confidence and truly teacGhing proper alignment and body utilization. She makes yoga approachable -- both physically and mentally -- while retaining its spirit.

Giselle teaches yoga with joy! Her classes are challenging, but full of music and laughter. She encourages us to reach for our full potential, but never take ourselves too seriously. It is always a better day after class.

I love it. More specifically, Giselle's class is a great combination of fun, strength, breath, technique and spirituality. Great music, new learning for the body mind and soul. It is a class I look forward to every week.
